Only use after payment is confirmed. Existing automation records paid squares, enrolls the participant in the Basketball Squares Brevo list, and checks FIFO eligibility.

Basketball season scoring · CBBD
All scoring runs online for season 2027. CBBD is checked at most every 15 minutes by the existing recovery scheduler. Final scores are replayed to handle corrections.
Set CBBD_API_KEY in the Vercel project's production environment if the source reports a missing key. The key stays server-side. Division I coverage uses the CBBD season directory's conference affiliations; review source coverage before final payouts.
Only available after all 100 squares are filled. Each axis is independently shuffled. Published numbers are locked, and future months cannot be drawn early.

Read-only checks. No live emails or invitations are activated.

The FIFO queue sends automatically. Only use manual sending after checking the current invitation and email delivery.

Encrypted data backup
Download a snapshot of the nine public Basketball Squares tables. This is a data-only backup, not a complete PostgreSQL database or Supabase Auth backup. Save it to your external drive and keep the password safe.
Verify a saved backup
Select the downloaded .hopbackup file and enter the password used to create it. Verification happens only in this browser: the file, password, and decrypted participant data are not sent to our server. This checks decryption and all nine expected table arrays. Optionally, run a local recovery rehearsal that writes and reads all records in an isolated temporary browser database. It does not restore into Supabase.

Tracks downloads started from this browser only. It does not prove a file was saved, and history is not shared across devices.
Testing & maintenance — email assignments
Test email assignments
Only contacts in HOP — Testing Only are shown. Assign one different email to each simulated test participant. This does not send invitations or affect the live pool.
Isolated test queue
Test-only invitations. Emails go exclusively to assigned members of the Brevo Testing Only list. No live pool data is accessed.
